Тhe number of patients suffering from chronic pain increases year to due the widespread growth and aggravation injuries, vertebrogenic pathology, neurodegenerative diseases level development surgical care. This mainly concerns people working age, who often become deeply disabled only as a result severe sometimes unbearable pain. The purpose work: make literary review evaluate therapeutic changes in activity different parts nervous system (NS) through electrical or pharmacological effects using implantable devices that are usually permanently patient's body introduction several types neuroprotection into everyday practice.

Electrical stimulation and tinnitus: neuroplasticity, neuromodulation, neuroprotection.
Neuroplasticity (NPL), neuromodulation (NM), and neuroprotection (NPT) are ongoing biophysiological processes that are linked together in sensory systems, the goal being the maintenance of a homeostasis of normal sensory function in the central nervous system. It is hypothesized that when the balance between excitatory - inhibitory action is broken in sensory systems, predominantly due to neuro...
متن کاملFine tuning neuromodulation by adenosine and neuroprotection
Adenosine fine tuning neuromodulation is a very subtle change, similar to what e.g., a pianist does, modulating a sound through insertion of another sound; so, modifying the characteristics of the previous sound. This is what adenosine does to modulate neurotransmitter actions. Adenosine neuromodulation is operated through high affinity inhibitory A1 and excitatory A2A receptors. These receptor...

The existence of a sex difference in Parkinson's disease (PD) is observed as related to several variables, including susceptibility of the disease, age at onset, and symptoms. These differences between men and women represent a significant characteristic of PD, which suggest that estrogens may exert beneficial effects against the development and the progression of the disease. This paper review...

Objective: To review the evidence surrounding Sacral Neuromodulation therapy and delineate areas that will need more research. Methods: An extensive search was performed on the available literature on SNM for lower urinary tract dysfunction. Based on the results of the search, the mechanisms of action, indications, technique, and patient characteristics of therapy failures and success are prese...
متن کاملNeuroprotection by Erythropoietin – A Review
Many hematopoietic growth factors are produced locally in the brain. Erythropoietin (EPO) is the principal growth factor regulating the production of red blood cells. Erythropoietin (EPO) isa glycoprotein hormone that acts as major regulator of erythropoiesis.Erythropoietin (EPO) has a dominant role for neuroprotection, neurogenesis and acting as neurotropic factor in the central nervous system...
